Psalm 145:3-5
“Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised, and his greatness is unsearchable. One generation shall commend your words to another, and she declare your might acts. On the glorious splendor of your majesty, and on your wondrous works I shall meditate. They shall speak of the might of your awesome deeds, and I will declare your greatness.”
A new years goal I had was to read Psalm 145 every day, although I have failed and doing that perfectly, I have loved to see how in the seasons I’ve walked through over the past few months this scripture, and all scripture, perfectly relates to any and all moments of life. It’s alive and active, the word is Jesus!
I love that in this different season we find ourselves in, God never changes. His greatness is unsearchable and he is always deserving of praise in the mountain or in the valley.
I love that in this different season we find ourselves in, we see how the Lord is moving, we see his wondrous works. This is situation that hopefully will just be once in a lifetime, and these generations will declare to future ones who we saw the Lord move during this time, how we saw his body come together, how we say people meditate on the glorious splendor of his majesty.
May this moment that we are in be one that we can declare God’s greatness in, and meditate on who he is and how he is moving.
